The Challenge:

The Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center wanted its artwork to reflect the location of the hotel in urban Denver where the high plains collide with the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

The Solution:

McGrath & Braun selected 3,925 art pieces that are reflective of the collision of the High Plains with the Rockies, as well as the dynamic energy created by sliding geology, skewered planes and the geological strata. The guest room art depicts the plains and the prairie with its unique cloud formations and plant and animal life that are indigenous to the Denver area. The uniqueness required by the owner is also reflected in the great diversity of media and by the unusual fact that there are no poster prints in the collection.
